1967 Hollyberry Red Cougar
The Hollyberry Red is a very early promotion of the 1967 Mercry Cougar and it is not known if it was a regional or national promotion. But, we do know that it was a promotion around Christmas time for Don Thompson Mercury, Inc. at 1350 North Court Street in Circleville, Ohio.
This Christmas special came with the following features:
- Hollyberry Red paint
- A big 289 cubic inch V-8 engine
- Concealed Headlights
- Triple Sequential Turn Signals
The price was set at $2,851.22.
And best of all, you could obtain a free 11″ model Cougar for just coming in for a test drive. What a deal!
