The car’s Owners are Gord and Kelly Nelson. On Gord “Bucket List” is a Cougar Eliminator so when found a Cougar Eliminator ad in the newspaper, his wife Kelly said, “Well, you better go get it.”

He talks about unique 1973 parts that are hard to find, and some of the areas on the car to check for rust and damage. Basically the theme of this video is: the 1971-73 Cougars can be great drivers on a budget, but don’t expect it to be easy to fully restore one to “perfect” status.

The car’s Owners are Pat & Jo Pacarenuk. Pat shares he was a working at the Mercury Dealership as the Head Mechanic and knew which boxes to check off when ordering. Also he’s is the original Owner!

This car exhibits a lot of pros and cons that you might run across when looking at buying a classic Cougar yourself. We felt that the “pros” pretty much speak for themselves; it’s a very attractive car, great color combination, good options, good condition, and a big block 390 that runs great. With that in mind, we spent most of the video picking on all the little negatives that you might not have noticed otherwise.
