The car’s Owners are Gord and Kelly Nelson. On Gord “Bucket List” is a Cougar Eliminator so when found a Cougar Eliminator ad in the newspaper, his wife Kelly said, “Well, you better go get it.”

Basically the theme of this video is: the 1971-73 Cougars can be great drivers on a budget, but don’t expect it to be easy to fully restore one to “perfect” status.

This car exhibits a lot of pros and cons that you might run across when looking at buying a classic Cougar yourself. We felt that the “pros” pretty much speak for themselves; it’s a very attractive car, great color combination, good options, good condition, and a big block 390 that runs great. With that in mind, we spent most of the video picking on all the little negatives that you might not have noticed otherwise.
