Use these Mercury Paint Chips to determine the orignal paint numerical color code for your Cougar.
The Body Color of your Cougar is a one or two-digit code on the 1967-69 Warranty Plate and the 1970-73 Vehicle Certification Label. Use that to determine the numerical code that a paint company will need to recreate the orignal paint on your car.
For example, on the Paint Chip above, the Body Color of Competition Gold is U, so the paint code is 2232.
