Date Codes
The numeric part of the code is the day of the month in which the car was scheduled to be assembled.
Example: 29M
The letter indicates the month in which the car was scheduled to be assembled as shown in the “First Year Month” column of the chart below.
If production extended into a second year, the month of scheduled manufacture was indicated by a code from the “Second Year Month” column.
